This is a 5-10minute drawing with the aim to learn how to draw in 2 point perspective, the first thing to be drawn is the horizon line, this is so that the vanishing points on the drawing can be alligned to the horizon line, the vanishing points are where the lines of the building point towards, for 2 point perspective it is essential that these points are placed correctly for the drawing to be realistic. The use of 2 point perspective gives the drawing a sense of three dimensional space on a two dimensional plane.
Both of the vanishing points on this drawing are not seen as it was drawn really close to the building, this means that the vanishing points are off the page. Foreshortening can be clearly seen towards the right of the drawing as the vanishing point is alot closer as opposed to the left side. The roof of the building which over hangs as great shading. The orthogonal lines in the drawing were repeatedly drawn to ensure that they were accurate.
