Landscape Drawing

This is an 15-20minute drawing of a landscape outside student central at the University of Bradford




This landscape is very well drawn as it clearly shows the texture on the trees as well as the shadows created by them. The roots of the trees are very well shaded along the contours of the shape which gives it a very good sense of 3D. The small bush/plant is very well drawn through jus shading which allows the viewer to easily see the shape and identify what it is.

The drawing could be improved alot by adding some detail to the floor which is extremely plain and blank but also by adding shadow to the small plant/bush in the drawing. Because the drawing is incomplete it makes it look very plain and simple so by adding in an extra 10minutes or so to complete the drawing would improve it alot.
